He has 34 years of wealth management experience and leads the firm with a focus on innovative financial solutions. Duane blends strategic vision with a client-first approach. He is passionate about technology and its potential to transform business and improve people’s lives. 

Prior to 1280 Financial Partners, he spent 16 years at UBS Financial Services. Before that, he worked at Merrill Lynch where he started his career in 1991. Duane excels in active portfolio management and backed by his Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation actively is engaged with corporate retirement plan consulting. He has been recognized as an industry leader by Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Advisors in 2025.

A Sandusky, Ohio resident, Duane is deeply committed to community causes, supporting charities for children, first responders, and military service members. He lives with his wife, Jane, and they have three children, Dane, Kamryn, and Taylor, and enjoys boating, diving, fishing, and travel in his free time.
